THANK YOU for PARTICIPATING!

These Surveys are an important element to creating a
Higher Education presence within Leander;
your input is Vital to our endeavor.

LEANDER HIGHER EDUCATION, AND
WORK-FORCE NEEDS SURVEY

The Leander Education and Development Economic Resource
Fund (“LEADER Fund”) has been created to promote greater
educational opportunities for residents of
Leander and
Western Williamson County.
City of Leander, Leander Independent School District
(L.I.S.D.), and Williamson County Business leaders are
represented on the L.E.A.D.E.R. Fund.

These members have initiated discussions with the ACC district
about opportunities to enhance higher education programs
within the City of Leander and Western Williamson County. L.E.A.
D.E.R. needs  to obtain information at this time to secure funds
in the future for development of a higher education presence in
Leander.

The Fund will not consist of tax-payer dollars outside of the
Federal, State and local grant programs available. The Fund will
also seek to obtain local business support as well.

The City of Leander and L.I.S.D. have begun work with the ACC
district to create several informational surveys. These surveys
are currently in distribution to Leander High School students,
City of Leander residents, and City of Leander Businesses.
Your participation with these surveys will help L.E.A.D.E.R.
determine higher education needs, identify opportunities and
enable the community to plan for our higher education future.

Please complete the survey online or via fax, postal mail
or personal delivery,  by
May 7, 2006.
(6 weeks survey period begins March. 20, 2006 and ends
May 7, 2006)

Your assistance with this very important initiative is appreciated.
